This DX site was created to let fellow dxer's know what we are up to while on DXpeditions in our former Walsoorden site (HOL) and the new site near Veurne, West Flanders, Belgium. We hope it inspires other dxers to try DXpeditions.

We travel to such locations to escape noise and to be able to put out long beverage antennas. Something we cannot do from home. DXpeditions take place several times a year. Usually in winter. Dxer's from Belgium and The Netherlands take the opportunity to dx from such rural dx location.

Are you interested in future dx trips? Get in touch with us. Send an email to us. We are always happy hearing from dxer's from other countries.

Nocturnal Dxing

It's into the wee hours here in Holland. Marc Vissers and Dave Onley are going the distance. Its 0022 UTC or 2:22am local time. Signals have really picked up from Nth America. In the past hour I have logged 1700 WJCC, 1650 CINA, 1650 CJRS, 1570 CJLV, 1580 CKDO, 1540 CHIN, 1520 WWKB, 1510 WWZN, 1500 WFED. 1320 a tentative logging of CJMR. So overall its worth sitting here. The beer is getting a nudge with Dave and Marc has his mate Jack D sitting beside him.

Heh, David! Great to see the pictures of the DXpedition. Pretty luxurious setup compared to my rustic DX shack at the cottage on the Queen Charlottes. Some decent reception too. Thanks for sharing them with us.....Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC, Canada.
